Hi everyone

I'm also a new face on this list and my search is for Patrick SCOTT and his wife Bridget.
Bridget was born in County Mayo, and the earliest I have them is living in Wolverhampton in the 1851 censs with their son Michael aged three. Patrick was thirty at the time and Bridget was twenty-four. By the 1881 census Patrick had did and the famiy had moved to West Derby in Lancashire. Is there anyone on the list who could help me research their earlier lives before they moved to 'England? Or who can point me in the right direction?
Patricks's daughter Maria married John William Reilly who father, also called Patrick, supposedly came from Elphin Roscommon. A descendant of this marriage told me she once went on holiday to Ireland and visited a graveyard in Elphin many years ago and saw a grave with the name of Scott on it, but she had no time to ask anyone about it. I have recently searched the graves database and found a grave in Saint Patrick's Churchyard cemetery.in Elphin Town, reading as folllows
Bridget Scott died 29th 1912 aged 80 (bn c 1832) which ties in with the brith years I have for Bridget wife of Patrick Scott.
Richard Scott died 29th June 1942 s/o Bridget of The Palace
Delia Scott died 1st Aug 1970
Joseph Scott died 11th June 1998 s/o Delia and Richard.
I can't find Bridget in the 1891 cenus fo Liverpool so I wonder if she returned to Ireland and died there?.
I appreciate any help

Dorothy
