Sorry, Sheila. I should have given more info on Patrick. Patrick FitzGerald
was born July 28, 1846, in Glenanaar Townland (Civil Parish of Particles),
Limerick. He was baptized in the RC church of Kilfinane, Limerick.

Parents were John and Ellen (nee Dunne) FitzGerald. John and Ellen were
married in the RC Church of Kildorrery, Cork February 1824.

His siblings were:
Maurice b. 1832
Maurice b. 1833 (my husband's g grandfather)
Michael b. April 1, 1835
Ellen b. May 31, 1836
Patrick b. June 21, 1837
Ellen b. September 30, 1838
James b. July 7, 1840
Ellen July 28, 1841
Patrick July 28, 1846 (the person I'm seeking)

We also believe that there were other children before the first Maurice but
can't confirm it. Church records did not start until 1832.
There's a possibility that James and the last Ellen noted survived childhood.
Michael did because he was noted on land records in 1878. We have no more
info on these people.

As I mentioned in my prior posting, an elderly cousin (grandniece of Patrick)
recalls her father speak of his Uncle Patrick FitzGerald.

Patrick was not listed as a mourner at hs brother's 1926 funeral.

He could be either in Manhattan or Brooklyn. I've looked at the 1900 and
1910 census but there's no way to make a determination on which Patrick
FitzGerald he could be. I was just hoping someone would recognize the info I
have posted.

Thanks.

Nora
