I'm trying to find the family of Bridget McKenna. She stated in the 1900
census that she came to the U.S. in 1847 and indicated that she was born in
1837. Hence, she would be between 9-11 years of age when she arrived. I do
not know who her parents were and do not know for sure what County in Ireland
she is from.

If anyone has access to the 1850 census for NY, I'd appreciate some help in
locating them. I know that she was in Haverstraw, Rockland Co., NY in 1860,
because my great grandfather was born to her and her husband, Peter Lynch, in
1858. I found Peter Lynch and wife, Bridget, and son James Peter Lynch, in
the 1860 Rockland County, NY Census. But where was she in 1850?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
