Debbie this is a series of journal publications which probably came out late 19th
and early 20th century, and was aiming to record as many MIs in various parts of
Ireland as possible. My guess is they recorded anything still legible at the time
they were doing the work in a particular cemetery. I imagine there's probably
nothing much too modern i.e 20th century, in it, but my earliest find was what
looks like a protestant cemetery in Clonegall in the s.e. of Co. Carlow, with a
Germaine buried in 1793.
You should look at the Family History Catalogue, Locality Search, most likely
under Ireland- cemeteries to see if it has been filmed. I know some of it has been
fiched, but whether by the LDS or not I don't know.
Hard copy you may find in major libraries, eg there is a set here in Melbourne at
our State Library. Also major Genie Society libraries may well have a set. Look
under the title (see my last post) and the subject.
