One interesting aspect of genealogy is that the question you spoke of "I
wonder whether we are related?" is one that usually is never destined to
be answered in this life..because of the complex difficulty of reaching
so far back into time to retrieve those precious pieces of paper that reveals
those linage secrets. All who toil at unraveling the mysteries of past
ancestors become pretty fatalistic about getting certifable facts on all
facets of a person's linage. Of course, that is also what makes it so interesting
too.

I suspect that the particular line I came from was driven out of their
homeland by the ravaging horde of Oliver Cromwell and his army in the early
1600's. What stories of personal tragedy, sorrow, death and defiance are
forever hidden in that silence. I have sent a note to Kenny's bookstore
I found on the internet asking for price of the book "ONolan..the History
of a People". Thanks Charlie
