I am searching for Billy O'Mally. He came to America in 1864-1865 after entering a dual with another man and winning. His family fearing his fate paid passage to America for him and he changed his name. He married in 1894 and in 1898 he had a daughter. She was 11 years old in 1909 when he passed away. She distinctly remembered him telling her of his passage here and his real name "William Oats Marley", and giving her the pictures of his mother, father, and sister. She passed this information and photos on to my grandmother and I have promised to search for this missing link to our family. If you have information on the people in the photos or have information on duals that you think may be linked to me please email me.
