Does anyone have a William DORAN (born around 1800) in Borris or
surrounding area? Possible parents are Philip DORAN and Mary DOYLE. My
ancestor John DORAN was born in 1800 in Ireland and came to the U.S. in
1825. (Unconfirmed sources indicate Philip and Mary may be his parents).
John had a son named William (in fact, lots of Williams run in my Doran
line), and I'm thinking perhaps his son was named after his brother.
