I am researching my Ggrandfather Andrew Nolan.
He was born in Carlow in 1830 and came here to USA in 1840.
Andrew lived in Jersey City and married Ellen Connor from Westmeath on Aug.
1, 1852 in St. Peter's Catholic church in Jersey City, N.J.
They had 8 daughters.
Andrew's parents were John and Rose Nolan.
Andrew died in 1907 and is buried in St. Peter's cemetery in Jersey City,
N.J.
I do not know where in Carlow he was from and can't find what ship he arrives
on.
I found him in the 1880 and 1900 census.
