Gloria Pattinson <> wrote:Hello All,

I have received a copy of my Gt. Grandfather's obituary from the 25th
November 1911 issue of the Nationalist and Leinster Times. On the same page
are two other obituaries. I've listed extracts below, but if anyone would
like to have the full obituaries please let me know. I can send a
transcript, or scan the photocopied page (but print quality is fairly poor
already) and send it as an attachment.

Death of Mrs. MORAN ,Bride Street, Ballinakil.
Chief mourners weref Mr James MORAN, (husband) and Henry, John, Pat and
James, (sons); Mrs MOORE, Mrs PHELAN, Mrs O'SHEA and Kathleen (daughters)
etc., it goes on to list various other relatives. Remains interred in
family burial place Knock.

Death of Mr. Thomas BYRNE, Busherstown, Carlow, at the age of 66 years.
No mourners listed, but the obituary gives details of his personal qualities
and the various business bodies and committees that he sat on. Remaines
interrred at Bennekerry.
