This is probably not your answer, but there is a "Gortmore" in Galway. brian

It is pretty clear in both spots so I feel pretty confident my spelling
is accurate, although it is script. I'm starting to think it is a
misrepresentation Bohermore as this person seems to have spent his life
before and after in the area east of Bagenalstown.
Does anyone have any insight that may be helpful.
