Dear Lorcan Scott at the Carlow Heritage Centre

I am the coordinator of the IRL-CARLOW Mailing List (hosted by
Rootsweb.com), I am also the coordinator of the Ireland Genealogy Project
Carlow website http://www.rootsweb.com/~irlcar2 (nothing whatsoever to do
with the Carlow Genealogy Project Centre) and my Listers, who are mostly
from America and Australia, plus a percentage from Carlow, Ireland are
continually asking what has happened to the Carlow Genealogy Project Centre
formerly at Old School, College Street, Carlow.

Will the centre reopen and if so when is this planned for? If it is not
going to reopen in the near future what are the alternatives for researchers
of Family History in Carlow? If you cannot provide the answers can you
suggest whom we should talk to about this situation?

Although you didn't answer my previous email of the 10th Jan 2006. (email
was returned) I did notice that shortly after all website links to the
Carlow Genealogy Project Centre have now been taken off the Internet and I
thank you for that at least.

We at the IRL-CARLOW Mailing List look forward hearing from you in due
course.
