Hi,
I am wondering if some one could tell me if LDS has the 1901 census for Carlow and if Bagnalstown would be listed. I am trying to get information on my Greatgrandfather John Mooney born abt 1845 I believe in Carlow. The reason I think he was born in Carlow is that I found him in Ellis Island 1910 traveling from Ireland with a John Joseph Mooney age 29 (not his son) who was from Parknakyle Bagnalstown and listed his father as James Mooney and my Greatgrandfather listed the same address.
John Joseph was to have come to the U.S. in 1904 but I can't find anything on him at that time.
I also found a Thomas Mooney who I believe was John Joseph Mooney brother that came by Ellis Island in 1902 who was from Bagnalstown and was going to see his uncle Jno Mooney at 1405 Central Ave. Cleveland which was my Greatgrandfather's address.
Thomas Mooney death certificate dated 1966 states he was born in Carlow and his parents were James Mooney and Bridget Maney.
My Greatgrandfather John Mooney's death cert. states that he died in 1919 in Cleveland Ohio and his parents were John Mooney and Elizabeth (looks like Wynne)
I hope that I can find something in the 1901 Census about James his parents and if their were any other siblings to James and John.
Thank you for any help.
Pat in Ct
