Alyce -
You should look at the parish registers of the Catholic Church, RC Parish of
Hacketstown (Carlow & Wicklow). Parish registers for 1820-1880 are on
microfilm, one reel in 1973 at the National Library of Ireland by the Family
History Library of the Mormon Church. You can obtain this reel #0926115 from
your local LDS Family History Library.

The Catholic parish of Hacketstown included the civil parishes of
Hacketstown and Moyne and parts of Haroldstown, Kiltegan and Clonmore. Moyne
is in County Wicklow; Haroldstown and Clonmore are in Co.Carlow; Kiltegan
and Hacketstown are partly in both Carlow and Wicklow. The microfilm reel
includes baptisms 1820-1879 and marriage 1820-1880.
