Carlow is simply called Carlow because our invaders could not get their
tongue around Catherlough so it was pronounced Catherlow which in time lead
to Carlow , the House of Commons Journals give good example of the progress
towards Carlow ..........recently on B.B.C. Leighlin Bridge was called
"lay-linbridge , mick
