Jeanne,

Unfortunately there are no RC Parish Registers that go back that far in
Carlow. Besides you would be looking in the Bagnelstown Parish Registers and not
St Mullins which is considerably further south. Although there are documents
surfacing (but not available at this point )back to the 1780's or even before
but when one gets beyond that point it is pretty slim pickings. Most of the
gravestones don't even go back that far. Unfortunately, I'm not as conversant
with the Doyle families as I am the Kavanaghs and Byrnes so perhaps there
might be something in the Genealogical Office Manuscripts or other sources I'm
not aware of.
