Thank you very much, again, Michael and JJ. This is exactly the outcome
that I was hoping for. Now I will soon be able to identify this
landholding.

Reverting to Maplestown, and the Griffith's valuations for that townland,
are they available online or does anyone have a transcript? I believe it
is:

PLU of Baltinglass, Barony Rathvilly, Parish of Rahill, Townland of
Maplestown.

| The Griffiths Valuation maps are a totally different set of maps.They show
| the plots and the numbers referred to in the GV. The original maps are
held
| in Dublin of which you can order copies of the maps sections showing the
| plot numbers. You can view an example of one of these maps here:
