Hugh STURDY b. 1801 possibly in Ballyconnell, County Cavan, Ireland m.
before abt 1835 Elizabeth (Unknown) Sturdy b. abt 1811 in Ireland.
Religion: Church of England, Anglican. Occupation: Farmer

Hugh Sturdy came from Ballyconnell, County Cavan, Ireland; he emigrated
1830, arriving Goderich Twp., Huron Co., Ontario, Canada in 1832. His
Father was John; Hugh was one of 7 children (Source: The Goderich Township
Families book, pub. 1985).
