I am looking for my husband's family of HENDERSON'S. The only info we
have on them in Ireland is very little:

James HENDERSON (born Ireland ! How vague is that . . .)
married (no date)
Isabella RUTLIDGE (also born Ireland!)

Children:
1. James (born in Ireland)

** Family legend has it that this family lived in County Cavan and
came to Canada approx. 1845 on a cattle cargo boat before the next
child was born.

2. Johnston b. 19 July 1845 or 1846
Blanchard Township, Perth County, Ontario, Canada

- Lost track of James HENDERSON in Canada, although there was a Billy
HENDERSON & a Jim McDOWELL who visited in 1951 in Regina, SK who were
connected to James.

- Johnston HENDERSON (my husband's ggrandfather)
married Jane WILSON November 8, 1871 - Perth County, Ontario, Canada
Children: Charles, Isabella, Robert, John Edward, Julia, William,
Edith, Wilbert, Sara Pearle, Ruby.

So from County Cavan, Ireland, they moved to Ontario, Manitoba,
Saskatchewan, and now Alberta, Canada.

Anyone know of this family in Ireland or Canada? I'm just starting so
have miles and miles to go.
