My name is Irene, & I live in Australia. I am trying to trace my grandmother ALICE HUGHES, she was born in Co Cavan Ireland around 1884. her father was JOHN HUGHES born around 1850 ?. I would be glad of any information received. Alice (& I think the family moved to Liverpool UK, where she married my grandfather James BRABBINS in 1906.
