My interest in Orangeism in County Cavan, aside from
generally trying to assist others learn more about
this part of their heritage, stems from my Campbell
and Ferguson ancestors from County Cavan who were
Orange Lodge members before leaving for Upper Canada
in mid - 1800s. They attended Orange Lodge at
Belturbet.

All the information on the Canada's Orange Roots
website is information which I have collected or had
sent to me since I began this research about 10 years
ago.

This Lease was sent to me from County Fermanagh, N.
Ireland. It had been sitting in the back of a
solicitor's office for over 50 years prior to a fellow
there acquiring it some 20 years ago.
