Hello Beth,

A word of advice on the family tales. You may need to suspend what you've
held as hard and fast truths and follow the evidence. Start in the US, get
as much documentation as you can and then pursue the Clare records.

In the interim you can peruse the Clare Library site which is an AMAZING
font of information genealogy wise. Here's the link:
