Clondegad is the name of the civil parish and it falls within the larger RC
parish of Ballynacally. Ballynacally is also the name of a town within the RC
parish of Ballynacally but appears to be within the civil parish of Kilchreest
(I'm comparing a road atlas, which doesn't show parish boundaries, with parish
maps, which don't show towns. I don't know where your ancestors went to
church because I don't know which church was closest to where they lived. Some
people went to the church in the next parish because it was nearer where they
lived than their official parish church. There are no guarantees in any of this,
but if I were you, I would begin with the Ballynacally RC records as the
likeliest bet.
