Whenever possible, it's better to rent the parish film from the LDS or ask a
genealogist to check the film in the National Library than to write the parish
priest. They're usually understaffed and don't have time to do genealogy
lookups. The Latton records haven't been filmed by the LDS but a copy is in the
National Library of Ireland (film 5575). They have a list of genealogists who
will do lookups for a fee.
