The single photos are not labelled but there are later pages which
have four photos each, which do provide names. There are several
with notations that the men had been in the American armed forces,
(typically meaning the Civil War, just ended a year earlier than the
Fenian movement of 1866). Note the young boys, apparently regarded
as serious offenders.
