Does anyone have a MANLEY out there? My grandfather was William John Manley
who we believe was born in Castleknock, Co Dublin in 1862. He joined the
army in Kinsale in 1884 and did not return to Ireland. His parents where
John and Bridget. John died in July 1899 and Bridget lived on in East James
Street, Dublin City. Thats all we know. We have been unable to locate
William John in parish registers of Castleknock, so maybe he was born
elsewhere. Any links?
