Hello Fellow Genealogy Enthusiasts

Searching for anyone with links to these Fitzgeralds or Foleys, or any Fitzgeralds or Foleys who have remained in the Goleen area.

Some background....
James (?Sullivan) Fitzgerald (Born 1847) Married Mary Foley (Born 1842) possibly at Bantry, in County Cork, Ireland. Some of their children (they had eight or nine) were born at Goleen, Co Cork - Margurete Fitzgerald, (Born 8th May 1865), Maurice Fitzgerald (Born 28th Feb 1867) and Catherine Fitzgerald (Born 3rd July 1868).
After several more children my grandfather John Joseph Fitzgerald was born on 26th February 1876 place unknown, but possibly/probably Goleen.

This family emigrated from Ireland and came to Australia, arriving in Moreton Bay on the Duke of Westminster in August 1883.

Any connections woul be wonderful and I would also love to hear from anyone who lives in the Goleen area or is familiar with it.
