Is it possible to find ones ancestors when little is known of them?
It is said my Great-great-grandfather,Noah Carroll, was born in Ireland
in 1799/1800 and came to America as a young man. I do not know if he
came alone or with his family nor do I know the names of his parents or
siblings.
There is a possibility they were from Northern Ireland.
Is this a hopeless case?
