I am actively seeking the origins of Michael McAULIFFE who emigrated from
Cork, Ireland in 1836 to Rochester, Monroe Co., NY and eventually settled at
Sartwell, Annin Township, McKean Co., PA. If old Irish naming pattern hold
true for this family, then Michael may have been the son of a couple named
Thomas & Catherine (-----) McAULIFFE. Affiliation with the DOYLE family of
Sartwell suggests that Michael may have originated in or near the Parish of
Ballyclogh.
For more information, please refer to the McAULIFFE documents at my web
site.
Thanks for your help,
Perry
