Below is the guide to the Householders Index. There is really more steps.
After locating your surnames on the film you can then use the fiche to
find the correct films to order of the Tithe Applotments and the
Griffiths Valuation.



Called The Index of Surnames of Householders in Griffith's Primary
Valuation and Tithe Applotment Books - Commonly known as the
Householders Index
Householders index is a list of people who paid tax to the Church.

To use this index you must follow these steps:

1 Find the call number of the County (film number)
2 Locate the County
3 Locate the Surname(s)
4 Locate the Parish
5 Record the Information
6 Locate the Tax Record

Below is a list of the Call numbers (film # for each County that may be
ordered from the LDS Church.)

0919001 - Counties: Antrim, Armagh, Carlow and Cavan
0919002 - Counties: Clare, Cork, and Derry (Londonderry)
0919003 - Counties: Donegal, Down and Dublin
0919004 - Counties: Fermanagh, Galway, Kerry, Kildare and Kilkenny
0919005 - Counties: Laios (Leix, Queen's), Leitrim, Limerick,
Longford, Louth, Mayo and Meath
0919006 - Counties: Monagahan, Offaly (King's), Roscommon, Sligo and
Tipperary
0919007 - Counties: Tyrone, Waterford, Westmeath, Wexford and Wicklow

After you have obtained the first 5 steps from these films you need to
order Fiche #6026722 3 fiche in total.

From these fiche you look for the parish in your county and it will give
you the film number to the original tax records of that area which will
have your famlies on. There will be a Film # for the Tithe List and
another film # for the Griffiths List. I hope this helps.
