Hello Anne,

Further to your post of the Cork list, I have some details of the Hodder family you mention. You may well have the following details regarding Susan and John, plus those of her father Francis of Ballea Castle. I have more details of her siblings and ancestry that I can share if you are interested (email, gedcom etc). For fun sake, I calculated that Susan and I are 3rd cousins 4 times removed, with common ancestors being Samuel Hodder of Ringabella and Elizabeth Boles.

My father: Colin Edward Cunningham Stewart b 1911
His father: Edward Henry Stewart b 1881
His mother: Geraldine Mary Laura Hodder b 1841
Her father: Edward Mulberry Hodder b 1810
His Father: Edward Hodder b 1762
His father: Thomas Hodder of Bantry, Co Cork
His father: John Hodder of Ringabella, Co Cork (md 1722)

I would be interested in knowing your interest or link to the Hodder family and would be pleased to here of any descendant of Susan and John.

-"On Saturday morning at St Nicholas church by the Rev William Chatterdon, Mr Francis Hodder of this city to Miss Matilda Kift, daughter of the late Mr Thomas Kift. (Cork Merchantile Chronicle, Monday 8 Jan 1810, re R Ffolliott, Bio Notices collected from Newspapers...)
