I am researching my g grandfather John O'Leary who was born 9/29/1932 in
Willshut to Cornelius O'Leary and Mary Williams. He came to the states around
1860. On the other hand I have a handdrawn map showing the O'Learys use to
live in a house in Knocknaheeny (now owned by the MacSweenys I am told). The
map also references a village called Boberbue. Also on this may is the
Millstreet church, O'leary park, Drishane Castle, Daniel Cronin's home and
Black water River. The street (hard to read the writing) that is on there is
Mallow Hwy. I am trying to find out how I would go about finding any records
for this area birth/death etc, and would there have been family buriels
there. Thanks
