We are gone all astray here! What the Registry of Deeds
office has are transcripts of the original Deeds, called
Memorials.

That is correct.

It should also be noted that these are transcripts,
|| not the original memorials.

Wrong! These LDS micro-films are made from of the original
Memorials, which, of course, are Transcripts of the
original Deeds.In other words, they are not copies of the
origianal documents.
