I really am going to have to disagree here, the memorials are NOT transcrits
of the whole deed. I have a copy of an original deed that came through the
family. It is about ten type written pages dated 1917, I found the memorial
of the same deed in Dublin, half a page written long hand.

Sorry I an going to disagree again. When a deed is made and is going to be
registered a memorial is made for the purposes of registration. This
memorial is usually made by the solicitors of the parties to the deed, it is
signed and witnessed buy the original parties. The registry of deeds then
transcribes, longhand, the memorial into a memorials transcript book. If you
look on the index you will see the last column reads 'no. of memorial and
page of transcript book'. The original memorials are not available to the
public in Dublin and I would think it very unusual if the LDS had filmed
anything other than the transcript books.
