Margie,
Most of Macroom town is located in the townland of Sleveen East, including at
least two of the town's churches. A bit of the SW part of the town is in
Sleveen West. The western and northwestern 'quarter' of the town is divided
among the townlands of Lackaduff, Gurteenroe and Kilnagurteen.........all in
Macroom civil parish.
