I should have explained, the extracts on my web site are complete for the
name Cronin in co Cork, if you cannot find him it is either because I have
overlooked it while dong the extract or because he is not there to be found.

It was common for more than one family to live in a house at one time in
which case only one name will be on Griffiths. I will give you a real
example. In 1901 my ggrandfather Stephen Flavin, his wife and six children
were living in the same house as his older and unmarried brother. The land
and valuation records remained in the name of the brother until he died and
my ggrandfather inherited. In other words without the census I would never
have found him, the valuation records would only find his brother. If it
were an in-law or cousin they were living with the problem would even be
worse.
