Hello all,
I am new to this list and also just started looking for my ancestors in Ireland. I have a copy of my g-g-g-aunts marriage record and she stated that she was from Ballycroneen, County Cork, Ireland. (In case there are others on here researching the name Cuddigan/Corrigan/Cadigan, I would love to hear from you). I was wondering: Is there a list somewhere online or in a library, that someone has ran across that would list the Catholic Churches in this region? We have searched the birth/marriage/death registry at LDS library for County Cork but found no Cuddigans or similiar spelling. I thought that the next step should be to find church records from the 1830's. Does anyone have any suggestions? I know the parents names and birth dates of atleast two of the children. The 5 children left their parents behind and ended up in Illinois by 1852 when the daughter was married.
