Husband - Daniel ROWAN born between 1800 to 1815 in Rathcormac, Co Cork.
Wife - Jane WILLIS. Daniel ROWAN is said to have been a Barrack Master at
the Fermoy Barracks at one stage.
Number of their children not known, but the following names are known to
have been included in their family - John. James, William, Daniel, Mary,
Bridget, Jane and Ann (or Anne).
Of their children:

sister of his brother Joseph's wife Honora.

1857 - they left behind three children who died in infancy. One of their
daughters, Mary A. who was born in Cappawhite, is said to have died from

The 'Mindoro' passenger list show the following ages at the time they sailed
in 1857:

Joseph ROWAN is said to have been the Clerk of Petty Sessions in Cappawhite

the St. Patrick's Society in Melbourne. He died 'on the job' on 22nd
February 1868. Honora had died earlier on 20th March 1866.
