Thanks to all who replied. All I have on the Donovan is his name was
James Donovan (b 1831 in Cork) and he arrived at NY onboard the ship
Vernon on Oct 5, 1852, I haven't been able to find much on the ship so
not sure where it originated or what it has about James. I am trying to
connect him with an Ellen Donovan b. about 1796 in Ireland and a Bernard
J. Donovan b. about 1830 in Ireland.
