This email is directed at the moderator of this mail list. All of my
other Rootsweb mail list identify the list in the subject line, in
parenthesis, immediately before the writer's subject notation; ie;
(Irl-limerick) subject; (Irl-Clanwilliam) subject.
Why doesn't the Irl-Cork mail group do likewise? When I see a message
with a subject line that says 'Query' I am inclined to just delete it
because it doesn't give any indication that it is an Irl-Cork message.
A favorite ploy of spammers is to put an enticing word or words in the
subject line (or nothing at all), hoping that the receiver will be
enticed into opening the mail, which could contain who knows what.
I would appreciate a reply from the list moderator, off list, perhaps?
