The Atlas and Cyclopedia of Ireland (1900) by P. W. Joyce and A. M.
Sullivan is now available on www.libraryireland.com via the following
link:

http://www.libraryireland.com/Atlas/Home.php

The Atlas gives a description of each county including the origin of the
name, size and population, mountains and hills, rivers, lakes, islands,
towns, and ancient divisions and designations. An accompanying map for
each county shows the baronies. For most counties there are a number of
photographs showing prominent landmarks and buildings.

The second part of the book is a complete general history of Ireland by
A.

M. Sullivan (completed by P. D. Nunan).
