Anthony...thanks so much. I've printed out your reply and will follow up on
all your leads. If you ever hear of the 1901 and 1911 census records being
posted on the internet let me know. So far Ancestry only has the English
records. I need to contact them and encourage them to do Ireland too.
Maybe they are already planning on doing it.

I did not realize that the Catholics didn't start their records until 1833.
I hired someone to try and find my great grandmother's baptismal record. No
wonder he couldn't find it or her marriage even though I had the marriage
place [including the name of the church] and date in our family Bible.
Thanks for that information. Her parish probably didn't start recording
stuff for a while or if they did...they didn't keep great records.
