My husband's g.grandfather DENIS O'BRIEN, is believed to have been born in
Castleknock, Dublin 3.4.1837. His, mother was CATHERINE, (maiden name
unknown) born 21.3.1792. These dates are entered in the old family bible.

Could someone tell me please the name and address of the Catholic Church in
Castleknock at that time. I would also be grateful for the name of the
current Reverend Parish Priest.

Denis and his mother emigrated to England (date unknown). We do not know if
his father went also, we have no knowledge of him at all. Denis went
back to Ireland where he may have married Mary Ann Stenson in Dublin
2.9.1863. They returned to Lancashire, England and had a family of twelve
children.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
