This list is for the discussion of genealogy and history, specifically
related to Dublin Ireland.

Please use discretion in the posting of public
announcements pertaining only to help with genealogy in County Dublin.


Off topic messages are not welcome. Listers who join in on these off
topic messages, will be moderated to a read only status for a specific
amount of time, after you have been warned. If you are not sure of the
appropriateness of a subject, contact me privately.

Do not post test messages,
virus warnings, political announcements, religious statements, chain
letters,
current events, personal messages, letter writing campaigns, or items
for sale.

No file attachments are allowed. If you have one to share, let
the other listers know and then have them contact you privately.

Flaming and rude comments are not allowed.

Do not
impose any other rules, expressed or implied, upon this list. If you feel
its time for a Roll Call, please let me know and I will call it, if I am
available for its duration. That is
my responsibility! If you are not happy with some of the queries or
responses,
please contact me personally, NOT the list. Or, if another member of the
list contacts you privately about your message, please let me know.

Keep
quoting of another message to a minimum. While I understand that some
is necessary, try to not to keep adding all the text to your messages
resulting
in a very long email.

I believe that this list has been run in a manner,
allowing a bit of leeway. Actually I am a very easy person to get along
with and try not to interfere, however if I see a problem about to develop,
I will step in.

Other than that, please enjoy the list, post often and get your message out.
