Hello Listers
Just reposting my interest. My great grandfather Francis William Blake Kelly
was probably sent of to the Pacific for some misdemeanour in the 1850s.
He may have came from Woodford in Galway or Waterford, but the only Blake
Kelly's I have found played cricket for Dublin University late 1880/early
1900s
Gustavus William Blake Kelly, born Dublin 1877 Atchison William Blake Kelly,
died in Somerset, 1961 nephew of A D Comyn, and Gustavus Noel Blake kelly
son of Gustavus. This family may have been connected to shipbuilding and
commerce. all the males carry the Blake name. So far I have not had any
contact with this family or any other info other than they may be stock
brokers in Dublin. I would love to find where my Francis William came from.
