Dear Beryl
I was fascinated to see yor GORMAN antecedents as 3xgfather was a
John CORR who married a Catherine GORMAN on 10 Jul 1855 at Felling when
their first child James was 5 years old. Catherine was
found in the 1851 census with her son in her brother`s household Peter
and his wife Margaret and their children -James,Mich,Rib,Peter and Will.
Catherine was 29-born circa 1822 Scotland and Peter was 42.
Catherine`s father was Michael and he was a labourer.
The only items I have are 2 war deaths I noted from the Commenweath
Graves Commission- Hugh Gorman 27 Mar 1916-age 27-son of Peter
and Margaret Gorman-husband of Annie Gorman. John Gorman killed
21 Jul 1944.
Regards
Doreen Fawcett (nee Corr)
