The maps for both the Rc and church of Ireland which were on the
www.local.ie were the copyright property of the National Library of Ireland.
I contacted the site regarding their disappearance. A few monthe later I had
a reply from a well known group of a accountants who were the
administrators. They cheekily asked me if I wanted to sponser the site
financially. So I guess the answer is money. I had the map on my computer
but it was somehow removed from my computer when I was linked to the
internet. . I did manage to make photocopies of it .
