David,

Hate to partially contradict Sue, but don't want to see anyone
researching in the wrong place -- Kinvarra is actually part of western
Galway - the dividing line between E and W is to the east of the parish.
Records are at the West Galway Family Heritage Center. Kinvarra is
bounded on the South by the Burren of Co Clare and on the West by the
Atlantic ocean.

And it is VERY Beautiful...
