If Hugh had a son Hugh, then he might have been called Hughbeg to
differentiate him from his father.
That would give me Pat,son of Hugh,and Pat,grandson of Hugh,so that's a
strong possibility.
Unfortunately,in the 1821 census I have 2 x Hugh Gill living in close
proximity,and both the same age,so it might be that one of them was called "Hughbeg" !
