Dear Judy,

I apologize for the delay in thanking you.

You have been very kind in replying to my query for additional sources for my research. I thank you very kindly for that. I have plenty of exciting work ahead with the sites you have given me. I shall visit them as time permits. Seems I am spending more time devising emails at the moment than anything else. This weekend I will have more time for actual research. Having dial up doesn't help speed research, lol.

Thanks again Judy, for posting these links. And yes, they were very helpful. I was able to visit the newspaper abstracts briefly and found an article I loved. Time will see what the rest has in store.

I am writing a book on the Ismay family. Currently I am building family
trees for the book. I would like to ask what additional sources could I use
to find family members AND their contact information?

I have used:

a.. Burke's Landed Gentry
b.. Some census records, but I am open to more sources
c.. Books
d.. RootsWeb.com, FamilyTree.com, Genealogy.com (any other genealogical
databases???)
e.. Parish Records
f.. Some museum and library archives, but I am open to more sources
Any additional sources is greatly appreciated. I am researching both the UK
and the USA.

Please note that not all family members have the surname Ismay. There are
many female decents who married.
