Donal - My grandmother Hannah Griffin of Camp had a brother Patrick John
Griffin, who married Mary Ashe May 15, 1920. Mary's parents were James
Ashe and Mary Dean. The pub in Camp bears the name of James Ashe. Source:
Bettie (Griffin) Stokes.

A brother of Mary Dean was John Dean. John Dean married Kate Griffin, sister
of Hannah Griffin, and ended up in Denver, CO. They had 5 children - John,
Thomas, Eugene, James, Kathleen (Source: Betty Griffin Stokes).

According to Eugene Deane of Camp, John Dean is his uncle.
I met Eugene upon my visit to Camp in 1995 and 1998.

Quite convoluted perhaps, but might make sense through a look at the file.
